With over 35 years of professional experience in the entertainment and dance industry, including 15 years as a professional dancer and 20 years as a choreographer, educator, director and creative leader, Kelly’s work has taken her through many sides of the industry from performing and choreographing for world renowned musical artists and TV & Film, to building community-based dance programming across Canada.
Co-founder of Triple Threat Dance Convention, Kelly had the opportunity to connect with dancers, teachers, and faculty from across the country, while developing programming that supported training, inspiration, and professional growth for young dancers.
For the past 8 years, Kelly has owned and directed her own dance studio on Bowen Island, where she leads faculty, mentors students, communicates with families, and continues to evolve sustainable systems for both artistic excellence and community care.
Her perspective comes from lived experience across multiple roles: performer, choreographer, convention director, studio owner and educator. She understands the joy, pressure, invisible work and emotional responsibility that comes with dance education. She is passionate about helping teachers lead with presence, protect their energy, stay connected to their students, and build a teaching life that is both meaningful and sustainable.
