Meet Your Mentor: Tamara Thompson Levi
From her first dance steps at age three to performing worldwide with companies like Alberta Ballet and Calvin Klein, Tamara Thompson-Levi has built a career rooted in artistry, leadership, and community. A celebrated educator and mentor, she’s taught across Canada, served on faculty at Capilano University, and founded Shine Dance Festival to create a wellness-centered, empowering space for dancers. Through her mentorship with WeBC and her leadership in Canada’s dance community, Tamara continues to inspire and uplift the next generation of artists and educators. As a mentor, she’s known for her thoughtful guidance, practical insight, and ability to help dancers and educators clarify their goals and take confident next steps.
